Ted and Travis, I finally got to use my EA auger. Very nice tool! Thank you so much for a well built product and friendly, attentive customer service. I look forward to purchasing a Wicked 72" long tine grapple next spring and hopefully an EA land leveler shortly there after. I understand you are a growing company experiencing typical pains associated with the business model and operational follow through that you find best works for your forecasted goals. I will be in touch to best strategize when to purchase so that delivery works around both your and my time constraints. Best wishes, Steve.

How do you block a Total Downer?

Full disclosure: When young, when I became cross or whiney, the folks would hang a "Sugar Tit" (sugar sewn in a cloth triangle and hung from the ceiling with string). This was usually in the corner where I was standing while being punished. When this punishment was out-grown, my father would administer a laxative when I became whiney, moody or otherwise out-of-sorts. This worked well also. Finally, I grew up and married and when I start in on complaining or being negative, she calls me "Negative Nancy". This usually shuts me right up and forces me to realise that not everyone wants to hear my rants. I mellow.

Asking an equipment question (partially out of curiosity, and partially for future reference): on the EA disk harrows are there recommended torques for the gang axles? (Specifically ETA-XD-LG-BF-DH-20-18)

Looking at other manufacturer's recommendations the trend seems to be that the recommended torque values are close to (or aligned with) the recommended torque values for grade 2 bolts of the same diameter.

While (from my understanding) everything should be tight enough that the pans ring when struck I'd rather not get to the point where I'm causing damage because something else has gone awry.

On terminal delivery you should get there as FAST as possible. The shipping company is not in the storage business, so be aware of that. I have picked up at at least 4 different terminals. To them having your pallet on their floor for a day or two is reasonable, but I would not push it past that. They also have (in my area anyway) business hours for will call and weekends and holidays off. Although I have had them load me up on Christmas eve once because they knew me and answered the intercom at the gate. But do not not bank on that.

Very true.

Though in my case, if I can't get there that day (or even the next) I'm also not going to be around to accept a delivery. Which is why I try to plan ahead when ordering large items ....and then hope that an unexpected trip related to my full time employment doesn't pop up. Thankfully, that's become less frequent than it used to be, and when it does happen it tends to only be a few of days. Though if I end up paying extra fees because of one of those.... well, it is what it is as there are some things that take precedence over my own needs/desires.

Re: I was attacked by EA staff and customer fan base - You Tube

It certainly is a loooong and overly drawn out story, that probably could have been told in under 10 minutes.
That said: The guy certainly makes some very valid points,........ he will likely now receive more hateful piling on.
Per lilranch2001 we now have another ....."little girl".

Travis,
I’m looking for a post hole digger for my JD 2025R. Bout the size of a 2601. I’ve watched all of Teds videos. He almost says which one he prefers for a B series then gets sidetracked. So which one do you guys suggest? The compact or subcompact. I see they are the same price. Most likely I’ll use it for setting 4x4s in concrete for a shed addition to barn and some deck post repair.
