Why was BX23 production only one year ?

1*I have a 2004 BX23 I bought new.
Would not trade it for a BX 22,24. 25 or 26.

Now how do you know that?? A BX26 doesn't even exist yet. What if the thing had 100 hp and sold for $2000? You still wouldn't trade?

I had a BX22 and it was fantastic. I sold it after 7 years of service and purchased a L3700. I'm pretty sure the 22 could do anything the 37 can. Just a bit slower. My father owns a BX23 and has not had any problems that were not self inflicted. They are just great tractors.

The only thing is I'm going to need a 3 pt hitch (it's missing), a box blade, a front mounted snow blower, ...

I bought my 2004 BX23 new. I now have 700 hours on. It is my favorite machine. The only issues I've had is two broken air filter bands. I finally made my own with a spring instead of a band and it is working well so far. I have saved so many aches on my body from using this machine to move rocks, dig holes /plant trees, dig out stumps, move mulch, load tree branches, carry loads with my attached forks. It is small enough to maneuver around my house and trees. I do all my own maintenance. I have looked at newer tractors but they just don't suit me as I am used to this one. I never had a toy tractor when young and now at 70 this fulfills my dream. It is FUN to operate.

Bought my Kubota L2900 in 1998 and sold it in 2016 for a Deere 4720 with cab. The Kubota was a very reliable machine but too small for our ranch.

I have to look but 2004 for my BX23... still on the OEM battery which is crazy!

15k was a lot of money for me at the time but I consider it money well spent in what I was able to do plus the priceless part of saving my back.

If I only had one tractor this is it... It is well suited to my projects more so than the Deere 110...
