As an example of overwhelmed, my wife gets 100-200 emails per day, mostly from sites she subscribes to. Important emails get lost in the noise. Her spam folder gets even more.

And no, she does not watch every video linked, or read every article linked.

I started watching about the time they hit the island of Chagos. I watched all old episodes...some of the early ones were bad but they improved as they learned their way around video and editing. But around Chagos they seemed to have a fun crew on the boat then some left including Josje (pronounced Yosha). It went downhill for me as they just had a boring crew. Then they got the three girls on board in South Africa and it became fun again. Elizabeth with her salty British thoughts and the German? girl Lisa would say the goofiest funniest things. She was a hoot. It started to go downhill again when those two left and just really hasn't been the same for me. I've never had an interest in sailing but enjoy the remote locations they visit.

Open one of those emails. Scroll all the way down and in a very very small letters it should say something about unsubscribe.

By just opening a spam e-mail you could be opening the door for a world of $%^&....!

the second you open a spam message you are likely loading a single pixel tracking image...and that is just the beginning...if nothing else it sends a message back to the spammer that it is a working e-mail address and an active user...!

I would even be wary of the "unsubscribe" button. You need to open the email to unsubscribe and They've Gotcha! I've been receiving scads of emails that are asking me to unsubscribe (I can see this before even opening the email) and these are spam or spoof sites I have never, ever even looked at. Beware!

Obviously I'm not saying to open any suspicious emails. A bit of common sense is good. I'm suggesting that solution for emails coming from known senders, i.e: Youtube subscriptions, Pinterest, Amazon, stuff like that.

Anyways, if you want to learn some very good stuff on agricultural and construction equipment repairs, here is a good one:

Yeah, be careful with that. Definitely unsubscribe to specific known reputable sites (forums) that you subscribed to. Others, I never hit that link.

Just opening a spam email is not usually gonna cause any malware problem. Of course, that assumes you are on a modern O/S, and not running your computer with system admin privilege. Links, however, no good.
