Rained here most of the day but did get a lot done.
Harbor freight after first coffee this morning to pick up a few gifts then a stop at my cousin's deli what started as a quick coffee with him ended up over an hour of just shooting the breeze. Wife sent me on a few errands and when I got home my brother from NJ decided to head north a day early and stayed here before heading to Mass for a funeral tomorrow morning. Went out for pizza with him and my oldest son.

Good evening all. 36F this morning, fog calm wind. Fog was around for 2+ hours, overcast cleared off at noon, light wind day, high temp 56F. Puttering this morning, then chain clean and lube followed by bike ride. Scooter got his walk. He is rubbing his jaw a lot, hopefully it means his jaw is healing from pulled tooth.
Drew, hop your foot improves as fast a Dr. thinks it will.
Buckeye, hope you get some good sleep tonight, sounds like you are mostly recovered.
RNG good to hear the 12th went ok for you, hopefully today went as well.

If I did the dog’s would revolt, and the cat support them. Each bucket must have a unique flavor the way they all treat them. When we do, from time to time empty them and clean them, should one of the furry kids show up for a drink and it’s empty, Boy, the stink eye!

Glad to hear from Randy. My FIL had same thing recently and is doing well.

First week of work was a little rough. My feet are very tingly tonight, my legs ache. I sit in a chair most of the day so not that strenuous.
Did have some freezing rain during drive this morning. Went in late due to late airport run last night. Heavy fog on way home. Traffic still crazy.

Good morning,
temp is 27° F and going to a high of 32. Wind E 11 mph. Flurries.
Periods of snow beginning in the afternoon. Wind becoming north 20 km/h near noon. High zero (32F). Wind chill minus 7C in the afternoon.

The weather guessers have been promising me snow and none has materialised, yet. An inch here and an inch there is NOT snow, that is just a pita.

A town run is in the cards today, then conserve energy.

A good time to catch up on tbn, even if it does mean groaning through a huge pile of pig puns. Great to hear you are up and about so soon Randy.

Eric, how's that octagon (I think it was 8 sides) coming?

I got as far as cutting a template triangle out of some scrap wood, but haven't been able to cut the metal sheets up yet for the infill panels as most days have been too wet, too windy, or too short of daylight by the time I have worked my way down the todo list :confused3:

The back and the leg rest are on different motors and you can only run one at a time, and of course they move . . . well, slowly

Bird, if you look closer, on the deluxe models there is usually a little flap covering the button that helps you get up faster...

Thinking of piggies again (sorry Randy ), yesterday I was recycling steel from the door hangers that were once part of the pig pens that are now our house.

Rain called a halt before I could finish putting T handles on 4 lengths of all-thread to clamp the trunk. With luck the rain may stop long enough today for me to finish that, then it can go in the barrel ready for when our oldest grandson comes tomorrow to cut the Christmas tree.

Lying here waiting on breakfast, watching the rain fall. It’s a beautiful day on Delmarva!
Oxygen saturation is 100% this morning, murmur is gone and I feel like new old man so far.

foggy and warm, rain has stopped, 58 out, high of day with temps cooling all day. Sunshine on Sunday.

Mostly, thanks, I think it's helping, though taking a shower this morning with a plastic bag over my foot was interesting.
Two rubber bands weren't enough...but shower sure felt good. Splint is ok to sleep in so will continue to do that.

Have some machinery I need to put the smart charger on, a few little projects today, but mostly need to continue going through old storage boxes and heaving as much stuff as I can, or give to Good Will. If I saw usefulness in something, I kept it. Potential usefulness.
Now the go or no go decision is made on each one.
Thank goodness my dump takes an unlimited amount of stuff, including motor oil.

Cool and raining here. Woke up this morning to the pitter patter of water dripping on the floor! That's not supposed to happen!
We have a steel roof that is supposed to last 100 years. It's Only 3 years old, looks like phone calls to make...
