You can not possibly escape the tentacles of Alphabet... and use the WWW in any fruitful way...

Any site/domain that google indexes has scripts running on it if only as a tag along from the http referrer...but usually they are allowed by the hosts...

Blocked google ads does not stop their scripts from setting cookies and probing browser bookmarks and history etc...

There is so much content on google and associated cloud servers...blocking their scripts will prevent a lot of content from displaying...

"Search for thread(s) by title." .. .. some of my favorites:

"I can't believe I did it again!" .. added wrong fluid to tank. Google 'antifreeze.'

"What is this thing?" .. turns out to be a spackle-caster. Google 'wall-board.'

"Three times a charm." .. found the right mix ratio. Google 'weed killer.'

One just needs to use the best keyword for the topic, both when posting AND when searching.

btw, be sure to check out my thread "Big or Little" if you ever wonder about 'size'. Great name for it, eh? It'll come up if you Google 'brain'.

I knew you looked young. A 7 year old owns and runs the forums! Kids know more about computers and the internet these days at such a young age.


I would agree about the search thingy. I use the DUCK and Startpage to search here with better hits and result returns.

Other than that, is there a way to have a LIKE button on each post. Then search by topic with the LIKEs resulting in the higher rankings. Some of the automotive forums are doing this now.
