Bobcat Ct 225 - Reverse speed problem too slow

Hello everyone!

I have just purchased the Bobcat CT 225 (2009) tractor.
It's really slow to REVERSE. Even when I put the transmission on high. About 3-4 km / h (1.5 m / h).
Is there an adjustment to be made to resolve this problem?

Not sure it is your problem but here is the adjustment procedure from the manual. I believe I have read of someone having a bent pedal before, might want to check that out.

Check the pedal. We have seen this many times. If the previous owner stood on the back side of the pedal, it can bend down and limit your reverse speed.

My pedal was bent when i bought mine. Both forward and reverse were slow. Very easily fixed. I've considered beefing up the pedal by welding on some steel.

Check the pedal. We have seen this many times. If the previous owner stood on the back side of the pedal, it can bend down and limit your reverse speed.

here's the details. TractorData.com Bobcat CT225 tractor information and the Kioti CK35. TractorData.com Kioti CK35 tractor information notice the Kioti has much better specs.. the Kioti CK27 more closely matches the Bobcat CT225. but there are differences, which a close look will point out.. Bobcat will have the tractors built to their specs, which could be inferior to Kioti, to save money..

Even the Kioki CK40 needs a gentle foot on the pedals. This person had bent linkage:

Reverse speed should be approximately 50% of forward speed at same RPM or gear range.

Well, I feel like a BIG DUMMY! Finally got my CT225 tractor out, to check my foot throttle.
The 2 bolts on the bottom holding it on, were just about out.
Tightened them up, and WOW! Big ole difference, foward AND reverse!
I've got to take a day and go over this thing.
Last major bolt problem was the entire loader assembly.
It was just flopping barely on after digging large hole to bury my horse.
Almost buried my loader with my horse, Lol.
Just an FYI!
CHECK UR BOLTS!
My tractor only has 501hrs.

Good evening everyone !
Finally the problem is solved.
The two bolts that hold the pedal in place were unscrewed.
I replaced everything in its place and everything is back to normal.
Thank you all for your advice.

Sorry to say, but GLAD U had the problem!
It fixed mine!
So glad UR's was the easy fix too.
Im going to go back, and put Blue loctite on my threads.
It was COLD, when I tightened them up.
Check UR other bolts too, when U can!
