Progress!!

When I was stick framing my house myself it took me 3 months (Jan 18 - apr 14 1997) to get it dryed in under paper on the roof. Was June 30 before shingles were on.

You guys are all doing better that I did. It took me over 10 years to finish my storage shed. Some of it I had help for but about 80% of the work I did all by myself. I built it in two sections because of the different rafters. 28x30x10 high and 32x30x12 high.

That's a record in my book. Nice job!

Buckeye, you are darned right we were. I took a few days vacation time last week and managed to get a few extra panels installed. My step-son was able to help me two of those days and one day I was on my own. Saturday it rained and Saturday night was quite windy with buckets of rain coming down. I was happy to see that everything was still standing when I went up there Sunday. Jefanna and I pushed hard and got 4 more panels installed, including one of the tallest of the build. It was hard and we had to pull it down and cut the glue away at one point and start over. We worked till 9. Even with good lights, it has a lot of potential for things to go wrong.
I started looking at your build thread. I’ll read some more of it tonight when I get home from work.

This is a panoramic shot I took yesterday morning.

Glad you got some panels up. Been waiting for the next video.

My thread is waiting for the basement walls to get poured, lol. I was looking at my pictures and missed almost a month of the work, guess I got too involved.

How many panels are left to install, and when can we start a countdown?

I have 34 wall panels left to install. But that is deceiving because 10 of them sit between post and beam connections. Those are going to be very complicated and I have not completely worked out how I will do it.
I have the next video edited except I want to add some music to it but I have had difficulty getting the music loaded to my computer in the proper format. Royalty free music is a challenging beast to get a handle on. I work with computers but not web stuff and never before I started this, did I do any editing. Add the really crappy satellite internet we have here and you have a full on difunctional clusterfluff of a good time.

There are 38 roof panels. I am certain that they will be a challenge.
