Congratulations. You did very well.

I retired 20 years ago. No regrets.

Our home is on the market and we are looking at a bigger house with more land just to ensure I stay active, I am dreading the move as our assets seem to double every 10 years, 20 years ago, no tractor, today 2 tractors and a heap of implements, caravan, a couple of trailers, 8 horses, 4 cars, a shed full of heavy stationary woodworking machinery, the list goes on.

LOL, know the feeling.
When I moved I put out to trash about 5 yards of stuff I refused to move.
LOL, the pickers had great night picking but next AM nothing left.

The upside was I had an impressive collection of aviation parts and the local trade school took and provided me a $5000. tax credit for teaching aids.
LOL, they sent a van and 2 helpers to load up. (easy to house clean)

I'm a little late to your retirement party, but congrats and as others have said welcome to the club . . . only the wife keeps me busy, very busy . . .

Congrats regarding retirement. Just do NOT set on the porch and wait for the grim reaper to take you.

I have been retired 10 years this coming June and had basically no hobbies prior to retiring since I worked mostly 7 days a week. Now I have a big tractor, a small TLB, two zero turn lawnmowers, a boat, a larger house than when all 5 kids, mother-in-law and grandmother lived with us and over 11 acres of land. I have just enough to keep me busy if I want but not so much that I cant just set and look out the window when I feel like it.

Retirement is grand but one does need to have something to do from time to time. Retirees that become couch potatoes usually dont live long after retirement.

Now that i'm retired it's 6 Saturdays a week and a rest day on Sunday if I need one. the pay isn't great, but the stress level is great as I do some DIY around the old house and run errands.

Ya, when I go into our small town (about 7 miles) and go to the grocery store the clerk will ask "what are you doing this weekend?" I say the same I have 6 Saturdays a week and one Sunday. Most all know . . . ;)

That's exactly how I look at it. I've said that to inquiring friends many times. I rarely know what day of the week it is. I rarely know the date within 5.

Ya know Richard . . . pretty much how I think (or don't).
