Set the mower higher than the grass. Then clippings won't get shot out onto the road or to the building walls. Anther way that should work is to reverse the direction of the mower blades. Grass cut previously will be sucked back in from your windrows. Mount an offset leaf blower at the discharge chute to blow the clippings back in for further mulching. Turn the deck around to put the discharge chute on the other side. Put a plastic bag over the chute exit and fill it with clippings. Then you can dump them onto the neighbor's property. Buy a goat it's GREEN. Diesel fuel eliminates the need to cut grass. A smart dog can be trained to eat dandelions. Then you won't need weed-B-gon or a mower if you use Roundup !

Weird. People have no issue with a one way discharging lawn mower, but probably wouldn't stand for a snow blower that only blew one way or a grader with a mouldboard that only angled one way.

I bought a diesel powered GH, I liked it so much I bought another one... Having the deck out front makes for a much better ride and better for mowing under things.
61" deck works best for me, and I have NO problem with the side discharge, and with the deck out front, it's much easier for blade maintenance and deck cleaning,

I think you meant 72" and 61" decks. They don't make a 7' deck that I know of. That would be a beast for sure.
I tried a 72" deck during a test drive, and decided the 61" was best for me.

I’ve got a mount mount grasshopper with a Kubota diesel. I’ve had a front mount Kubota before and for my uses I prefer the mid mount but the front does offer some advantages and either way their very nice mowers. I’ve never had any complaints with the side dump deck. It’s just not that hard to make a lap or two blowing away from the house and road. The rear dumps have a lot of complaints about wind rowing grass and clogging the radiator with dust. In any case the GHs are first class machines and it doesn’t get any better than the Kubota diesel.

Thanks... They are excellent mowers, but they make into a decent snow blower, with the sno blower attachment too,
