I was at Lab for blood draw at 7 am. Out before 7:30. Back home before 8 am. The endocrinologist I saw yesterday has experience with my condition. Will see if anything can be done about it’s affect on me.

67°F and no rain

Some odds and ends prep for visitors tomorrow then back to my carport project. Success would be getting it welded today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Ron, no, not really.
The second 5ft section on right is over the walkway, so couldn’t have a trip hazard, so moved the base brace to 84”. Leg will be secured with 5/8” anchor bolt.
The larger open area on left will sit in front of the laundry area. The two legs would have been awkwardly placed. Adding a steel header and some additional supports. Will have the option to place a leg in more convenient location if needed.

Not often that I get to push products that are made by company I retired from. ITW

Oh, man ... those E-Z Ancor drywall anchors may possibly be the greatest invention since sliced bread. We use those all over the house. All of my guitar and bass wall hangers in my studio are mounted with them. Love those things.

LS: with all you've got going on with your son's garage/shop build you still have time to make a table that looks like ART. WELL DONE SIR

we haven't had a dog for a long time since our last one passed in 2008 and training cats doesn't count as a skill cause they can't be trained cause they train us. one thing I will say is if you spend time with your dog doing fun stuff with him even if it's only walks they tend to listen to you better when you need to train/discipline them. good luck and sorry to hear of the catastrophe.

Bird: I hope your birthday was as good as mine and here's to another year above dirt.

ALL: thank you all for the well wishes cause I turned 64 and we played the Beatles song last night just before heading to bed. "will you still need me, will you still feed me, when i'm 64" cause my bride will be 64 in a few months. she made us a nice salmon dinner so i need to make her something on her birthday even if it's pancakes or cookies.

one good thing about the day after birthdays these past 15 years is i'm not hungover cause i rarely have more than a couple beers or a couple glasses of wine and last night neither. now to just drop a few pounds in 2020 so i'll make it a few more years.

have a great day everybody while the Seattle Drizzle continues.

speaking of Seattle anybody here remember when I-5 freeway was built in 1966? I think it opened in 1967 and here's a picture of downtown in 1966 and another one in early 2000's. I live a few minutes south and an eagle was flying about 15 feet above a traffic light while I was waiting for it to turn green so just imagine was downtown Seattle looked like 150 years ago.

cheers
