Well got the backhoe back on today....unfortunately I decided to put the seat bracket through the back window. Fun times. Cost me $175 to replace. What a nice little learning curb along with the million of glass particles throughout my cab.

That is unfortunate! Sorry for your troubles! I would have thought replacing the glass would be more than $175 if that is any consolation.

Let the fun begin....:D

Sorry to hear about your window. Ouch. That's never good. So far, knock on wood (taps head), I haven't broken any of mine. A few guys have driven theirs around with side doors open and caught the edge of stuff, breaking them that way.

I was actually surprised also. That's just for the glass, since I didn't need the moulding. Shipping is another $13 bucks, but it could have been much worst

Yeah, as it happened my jaw just dropped. I'm just going to take it as a lesson to always slow down.

This would be great. I'd be curious on how they actually work in the different scenerios. I'm with you, seems ridiculous that the only solution is waiting for the right temp, or begin the process of banging out all the time doesn't agree with me
I would think hooking the lines to each other the easy solution overall
Sorry to hear about the glass!

I though so too. But then what happens is that the pressure from the heat-expanded fluid locks the connectors on the implement together.

Bummer about the cab window, and add me to the list of people surprised at the reasonable cost. Also, shouldn't they have designed the BH so the seat does not hit the cab? It seems like an obvious thing to check. Maybe they checked too late and that's why they have rear windows in stock at reasonable prices.

On my BH (made for Branson by Ansung) the seat bracket is in two parts. I unbolted it and put the seat on the other side so it's 1/2" farther back for a little more leg room. If yours has enough leg room for the operators you might be able to move it away from the tractor.

I honestly haven’t met anyone in person that has had the lines stuck together but can believe it could happen.

I had it happen with a 1/4" quick connect, that was acting like a check valve.
