So a lot of screwing, egg laying and pooping... Sounds like normal behavior for a lot of creatures on this earth.

Yes, but geese are the only creature that leaves mountains of poop in my backyard.

These things are on the move big time. I've probably seen a thousand or more today. One flock I'd estimate at over 200 and there were 7 or 8 smaller flocks.

Goose movement is a sure sign that Spring is coming to Lower Uncton!

The Mallards do nothing but mate all day and all night. The females get as many as possible males to mate with them. I've seen them with a train of 9 or 10 males waiting in line. And when those are done, she'll go around teasing up another bunch of horny males. Geeze!

I wonder if that's why there is a "Mallard" travel trailer.....you know for that trailer trash?

Bowel movement or flight movement? When it comes to geese the latter is better. I luck out with migratory geese, the ones here stay in the saltwater and nest down the beach somewhere. Never on my property. Always an aerial show when the bald eagles go after the goslings. The eagles seldom get one as they dive underwater.

Wow, a year to the day and I'm seeing them again. Quite a few over the last few days when weather permits.
