I think the question is quite the opposite. Where is the personal responsibility? Those days are gone apparently.
The operator should be responsible to educate himself with the information at hand. Maybe a hundred years ago a new cowboy should have been able to sue the guy that sold him the horse that bucked him off and broke his neck?
Not a child we are talking about here. Oh wait... maybe we do need nannies for adults? And we call this social progress?
I agree somewhat, but... I know from experience that my Kubota MX 5100 should NEVER leave the dealership without loaded tires at a minimum, and wheel weights. It is notorious for being too light in the rear for fel work. There needs to be some compromise here that covers that scenario. Seriously, maybe we need a tractor safety course before taking delivery. :confused3:
