I have an MK Martin meteor sb54 on the rear of my kioti cs2210. Works well with my tractor and is well built. Been running it 3 years now trouble free so ive been happy with it.

I was considering getting one of these but having a small tractor I dont know how well it would work being that you have to drive through the snow first before the blower gets to it. Around here at times ( today actually) we get drifts that can be 2-3 feet high and I'm just not sure it's the answer with a small machine.

Just as an FYI, I leave my loader on all the time. I remove the bucket or forks, raise the arms high enough to see under them and hydraulically lock the them in position with a high pressure ball valve i installed on the raise hose. Then I can unhook all 4 hydraulic lines and use the joystick to operate the front mount blower. Takes a couple minutes to remove the blower and reconnect the lines. Not ideal, but you cant beat a front mount blower.

Here's another way to hold the loader arms up.

That is a better way, for sure.

For a SCUT, that's not a bad plan. Put some magnetic mount LEDs on the loader frame, and you'd really have something.

I cannot use a rear blower that must be operated in reverse due to neck issues, so I went with a pull type blower. So far it has worked well. I have an old cheap $100) back blade mounted on a SSQA to push snow and back blade with.

Driving over a foot of snow is no issue, but I do not get the 2-3' drifts you have. If I had to deal with that, I would use the front blade to push them to a manageable height, or the FEL. Having the SSQA setup for the front blade is important to me as I use the FEL or pallet forks.

Driving in reverse is not fun so do some testing as suggested above.

My pull blower is a FarmKing and I am happy with it. It was $3000 less than a front mount for the LS4140 I have.

I understand. But I need my FEL for my hobby Farm. Rear mount it has to be. Did the 1710 do fine? I don't care about looking back.

The 1710 did fine, it would be a bit better with about 100 lbs hanging off the front though, I never found a place for the weight with the loader on.
