Yeah, somewhere along the line one has to use a wire (power, and likely ground), which kind of defeats the notion of avoiding issues of snagging wires (which I'm quite familiar with:eek:). I tend to think that a wire is essential for a reliable video feed.
Trust me...just get the hard wired ones with the 4 pin cables...only way to go

Two wire cables are usually molded together, thus basically making up one cable. Installation and maintenance would tend to differ little. I was thinking that it was perhaps the benefit was for video stability.

I'll note that LCD monitors take a bit to warm up before you get a stable image. Incentive to allow the tractor's fluids to also warm up a bit before use:D

I had auto leveling loader on my New Holland. My Kubota MX doesn’t. My eyes don’t have any problem leveling the forks to pick up pallets

ONE thing I have thought about, given tech trends and price drops, has been a video camera, or several with split screen display.Back up cameras are CHEAP these days, fairly rugged and adaptable - depends how much Inventioneering Ya wanna do.---------------------------------------------------.
If you get a back up camera, make sure the image is reversible. Back up cameras have a wide field of view, which is great for backing up, but not great for positioning fork tips.

I have a 53 degree field of view camera on the front and it is very handy. :thumbsup:

This is on a Kubota M7060 cab tractor. The cameras are mounted on magnets, so easy to move.

The magnets don't interfere with the camera signals ???? Thanks as I would like to do the same thing with my M5140 Where did you get the cameras and magnets
