I got my backhoe rake finished. Just in time to not be able to use it this year. Got a chance to try it out though and it works better than expected. It rips through roots and pulls small stumps easily. Pictures aren't the best but gets the point across. I origionally had planned 5 tines but it was pointed out that it would be too wide and could bend pins, so I reduce to 4 tines and spaced them slightly closer together, leaving the pipe overhanging a bit. Its roughly 24 " wide now.
I got the parts waterjetted and the flanges welded and reamed by a company in Trenton Ontario, if anyone wants the info on them I can supply it. They were real easy to deal with and reasonably priced. All I had to do was supply them with a cad drawing.
Next project underway already is a tractor cab, then to motorize the chute rotater on the snowblower. Next year to build a screener to get the soil separated from the roots.
