the first thing you tell me is I'm foolish. ?? Hardly...
My primary doc is frankly not well informed btw...and I bet most aren't. We are unprepared for this.
Why isn't the Red Cross or Civil Defense better equipped? Seems to be another New Orleans...

Really? Age tends to increase your mortality rate anyway as in, no one lives forever.... What you didn't post was the 'rest of the story', which is, older people with pre existing conditions (resperatory related) are more likely to succumb to the Wuhan Flu. Gee, just common sense in my view. Older people are more likely to die from it, but then older people do die anyway.

Haven't met anyone as of late that lives perpetually...

Coming here for advice on anything is always a crapshoot at best. It's like You Tube video's. Entertaining but far as accurate information, it's debatable at best.:laughing:

5030...I play euchre with a bunch of older people, many over 80 years old and many with health conditions. If they were all to catch covid19, about 20 to 25% of them will be gone if the mortality rates are accurate. My mom is high risk and is about a 1/4 chance of passing. Maybe tell Italy that it is just normal for "old" people to die.

I知 thinking the rate may very well go lower... the CD rate is dropping too... guess no more 2.5% 14 month term anytime soon?

My wife works for a financial institution that just raised it's rates about 6 weeks ago and now is killing all those programs. We locked in a few CDs at the new higher rate for 18 months just about 4 weeks ago. Yikes!

I ventured out to the store to buy supplies. I knew of the stories of TP and sanitizer being sold out but I did not expect dried beans (my main reason for going) to be sold out. See picture. There was one particular bean in a smaller dispenser that was NOT sold out. Check out the name of the bean.... I did not buy any..
