3-Point Hitch RK55 3pt fine tune

   / RK55 3pt fine tune #41
I had a 1985 case 1494 cab model I bought new did the same thing, move the position control lever a tiny fraction and the 3pt arms would raise couple inches when they should of only raised a tiny bit, frustrated the H out of me. Tried everything like you including having the dealer try to fix, bad news nothing made it work like it should. Too bad cause other than that issue was a pretty good tractor but that irritated me to no end when trying to do fine 3pt work. Concluded was an engineered flaw in the design of the system, sold it and never looked back. I've owned many tractors over the yrs mostly fords and new Hollands which have always had 3pts that operated exactly as they should both the position and draft controls, I'm familiar with how they should function when properly designed from the factory. I sincerely hope there is a answer/fix for yours . Have you tried using another one of the same model at your dealers lot for comparison? Also I'm curious as to why RK Tractor Guy hasn't responded. The original RK Tractor Guy either quit, or was fired.
The replacement RK Tractor Guy, who apparently did work for RK, was posting here without RK sanctioning.
RK apparently caused him to stop posting.

Kinda seems like there was a third one in there somewhere as well.

I don't see RK ads here anymore either.

It's a positive sign that RK is at least talking to the OP. I'm hoping he gets this resolved. As Seven Gables said, it's a very frustrating situation that makes the 3pt almost worthless for anything more than carrying a load....

None that I am aware of, love the tractor but hate the three point. I cannot understand why anyone would want a hitch that responds like these do.

Did you find any relief in your 3p issues? Try anything new? (55HC owner)

No relief here, I just deal with it best I can.

Mine is doing the same thing. I had a bobcat tractor before this and the three point was very smooth, not precise, but had a lot more control. I have had my RK55 for 10 months, and use it mostly to mow. And it is a bear to get the three point to the level I am needing as well. I have also noted that this doesnt seem to have as much travel too.
