My neighbor works in the cement business. He is making more money now than he as ever made. He has no incentive to go to work. Cement work is not easy as you all know and he is 53 YO. He was talking about going on disability this year as his elbow/arm has been hurting him badly. He will ride this train for now.

On another topic,
I see they are finding kitties and tigers with the virus...NY I think. If there is a shortage of test kits, why are they being "wasted" on kitties? What do you do if your kitty has the virus?

The country is going down the tubes.

BTW, thanks to all for keeping this thread open. I have spent some time on TNT...not liking it much. I appreciate differing opinions as that gives food for thought and like another poster said, I want to hear from "boots on the ground" in other areas of the country. Throwing insults and petulant behavior gets old in a few days.

Good to see 5030 back too. BTW, 5030 and I may be on to something. He uses Crown Royal as well. Neither one of us has come down with the bat bug yet. Being isolated in rural MI has not proven to be as effective as CR in my limited analysis.

If you drink regular hand sanitizer, it will kill you (denatured alcohol), but Crown Royal makes excellent hand sanitizer and you can drink it too. 2 positive uses.

Im very worried that this 'early opening up' will be the downfall of everything in the end if it plays out like Singapore has. Thought they had it under control, went back to the before virus normal and wham, they are in a real epidemic now.

Think my wife and I will keep right on practicing all the safeguards we have been doing. I don't want it, don't believe anyone else does that has any sense.

What exactly is 'flyover country' anyway? I've always wondered about that term. Like the word 'woke'. Haven't a clue what that is either.
