Im very worried that this 'early opening up' will be the downfall of everything in the end if it plays out like Singapore has. Thought they had it under control, went back to the before virus normal and wham, they are in a real epidemic now.
Think my wife and I will keep right on practicing all the safeguards we have been doing. I don't want it, don't believe anyone else does that has any sense.
I dont think this will happen, heres why:
Singapore is a lot like New York and North Jersey. People piled up like cordwood. In the beginning of reopening, NYC wont be one of the areas to reopen. They will be on the tail end. The front end will be places like Wyoming, where it is safer to try. Meanwhile, NYC & NNJ will continue to social distance and rat each other out for going outside. Feel sorry for them, but they are an arrogant bunch up there.
We will look at how Singapore failed and learn.
