Some day, maybe I can own such a machine.
And I still like that TC21D. It was on my short list. Super comfortable and well laid out. If I had to get a conventional tractor, that would have been my 1st choice over the Kubota and Deere I was looking at.

CUTs aren’t great at any task but the versatility is unmatched. If I wanted dedicated loader I’d buy a CTL.

That second "stack" is the air cleaner/intake.

Tractors are kind of like girlfriends - you love the one you're with. As a young married guy with no money, I bought a non running 1941 John Deere B for $75. Cooked the tghe magneto in the oven at 150 degrees, and the spark came back! It was a flywheel start that started well cold, not so much warm (It is amazing to me that crank start tractors start on th efirst compression stroke). Sold it for $275 and got a 1941 Farmall H for $275. I thoiuggt I was in heaven.
First CUT was a 15 hp Shibaura for $2,500. Used it for 4 years and sold it for $2,500 (some days I wish I still had it) Bought a John Deere 850 for $6,000 with a 5' brush cutter. Used it for several years and sold it for $6,000 without the brushcutter. Bought a Kubota L3010 GST for $4,750 and still have it. Could sell it at a profit if I wa so inclined.
Along the way, on a parallel path, I also had a New Holland 1925 and a Bobcat 642 skidsteer. I used both for several years and sold them for what I paid for them. I loved that New Holland 1925 until I tried to move greasy snow in a spring blizzard with those @#$%^ R4 tires (racing slicks in greasy snow). The skidsteer was super functional, but you had to be Houdini to work on it.
Two points:
