Woods BH750

Hey everyone, I'm having issues with my bh750. I got it in pretty rough shape, I changed the oil and filter and it was mostly water. I got everything moving except for the boom. If I set it down, it wont pick back up without help from the dipperstick but if I push down I can really feel some down force even all the way extended. It also seems that there is little force in the swing, at least swinging left, i tried pushing a railroad tie and it didn't even budge it. Most of the cylinders leak a little but not enough for it to droop without leaving it for a day or so, I meant to rebuild them but I want to make sure it's worth putting my time into. I'm not sure where to go from here, does this seem like it could be an issue in the valve at the operator or something failed inside the cylinder? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

You may just have air in the lines. It can take some time to work it out of the system.

That was my first thought, I did some looking and found this thread and kept running it. After your suggestion of air in the system I decided to try again, so I ran it a bunch more and no change. Oil level is good and stopped dropping.

I would go with the valve and/or the relief pressure valve stuck.

My first thought was to check the plumbing coming from the tractor. And supply pressure.
They can be hooked up backward and still work. If something up stream is still open (like the 3 point) the hydraulic pressure will go to that function then divert to the tank rather than power beyond to the backhoe lines.
I had one with the swing chain. It was always touchy!

Hmm I'll have to check those out. I think it's time for me to buy a gauge set up to check actual pressure and verify its proper direction.

Is yours plumbed into the system or does it have a separate pump running off the PTO? I ruined the pump from my last BH when I hooked it up backwards to run my wood splitter.
At least it wasn't the pump in my tractor.
