Oh, I use my kids boogie boards from the pool when kneeling for an extended period, it's like a silk pillow compared to the hard wood.

Most rental places have decking guns , not wort it on such a small project . Screws cost 3x as much and u will never use a hole box stuck with leftovers. If you had to buy every tool they make for every job you wood have to have a last name like Trump or Gates. Thats why they call it work.:drink:

Milwaukee makes longer lasting batteries for their M12 series tools that are the same size as the 1.5AH battery:

2.0AH and 3.0AH.

The 3.0AH battery is all I use in my Milwaukee heated jacket & pockets.

All my batteries are 2ah. The 4-in-1 D type drill is more battery efficient, I can get 25 or so more screws with it than the driver.

Got 17 sheets up yesterday in the hot sun where there's no place to escape. It's really starting to look like a floor, I'm happy. When I walk it does have a hollow sound though, probably due to the fact that it is hollow, the joists have almost no mass to them compared to a normal wooden joist. It feels solid though, really good.

It looks great! I like that first picture especially. Will you have a slide to the pool from the second or third story?

Seeing that swimming pool while you are burning up in the heat must really add to the torture of being up there!!!

Knowing that pool is there is my light at the end of the tunnel, at the end of the day I dive in and cool down and let my muscles relax.

I really enjoy seeing the pictures. I would love to have a new shop. Not as big as yours. In years gone past, I would be up working on one. But with a few health problems, I no longer get on ladders and can't stay out in the heat that long. I wish some of us lived closer, I could supervise by the pool with a cold glass of unsweet tea. Keep the pictures coming. Most of us are really jealous.

I just turned 37 and am in the best shape i've ever been in. Muscles all working, joints all working, and as long as i day a few 15min breaks during the day i can keep plowing on. I'm hoping to enjoy this garage for a long time.

I am 68, heart problems, cancer 3 times, 1 kidney, missing section from right lung, no problem. Still going good. But now have had an infection in my foot. Meds off and on for the past 19 months. Lost part of the joint behind my big toe on my right foot. Not the best thing for balance. I will get over this. I don't give up, ever! But just will never have the balance for ladders or working on the roof. But thinking about renting a lift to paint my house at this time. I have lights and not as hot at night. And I still put in about 9 hours a day for a regular job. My biggest problem with a big shop is my wife letting me cut down the trees where I want it.
