How Does the saying go? Thou Protestest Too Much?

A late friend and neighbour lived on the public tit his whole life. When ever I pointed fingers at government corruption, he immediately, and without fail always pointed to the private sector as if that was anything close to the same.

Human nature eventually corrupts most people if left to their own integrity long enough.

Any rich organization whose leadership has been there decades is probably corrupt in some manner. It's called an "Empire".

...and Wayne is real good at playing King Tut. Why I'm no longer a member and switched to GOA.

The NRA is the primary group that the anti-gun crowd loves to hate. They must be doing something right.

The world is full of imperfect people and organizations. May the NRA continue the fight for responsible gun ownership. May the GOA etc step up too. ....but I had never heard of them before this.

Unfortunately, I think if we don't get behind a single gun rights group that knows how to amplify the value of our votes and dollars, then the anti's have succeeded in dividing us and ultimately defeating us. You can't deny the past effectiveness of the NRA in mobilizing their base. So far I haven't seen that same effectiveness from any of the other pro groups.

IMHO, I reads this as “Give your money to the con man (LaPierre) because the other side is SO bad.”
Scare tactics is why Obama getting elected was the best thing that ever happened to the NRA and ammo manufacturers. I bet they miss those days.

Should be suits against BLM and Antifa. Supposedly BLM has not helped a single black person other than the ones working for them. They're supposedly giving millions of $ to all kinds of organizations, sorta like money laundering.

Being an election year and the very possible loss of a majority in the senate which will give the anti-gun side control of both houses along with the exec. branch...you can bet they will not let the opportunity pass by again...they may not even bother doing it in the middle of the night behind closed doors like they did with the health care act...
...While the foremost gun rights group is occupied with legal action...it's a big set up and the writing is on the wall...

So - how do you suggest we who believe in the right to keep and bear arms keep those arms when Joe Biden takes over as President in January? He's already said that as soon as he becomes President he'll be tapping Beto O'Rourke as his gun confiscation czar.

Not trying to start an argument here. But I'm really, really concerned our Second Amendment rights will disappear with a Biden Executive Order early next year and I don't know how best to fight it.
