Local builders are resorting to following semis delivering loads of wood. When they find the store they delivered to, they go there the next morning and buy it up. (It was in the newspaper)

Reminds me of last spring when I saw a truck with the logo of a local supermarket so I followed it to the store to see if it was carrying toilet paper.

My last customer won't be concerned about lumber prices for a while:

That's 10,439 board feet of mostly Red Oak lumber.

Thanks, that job was sorta large with 136 logs. We sawed it in 6 1/2 days of sawing.

Amazing....will that wood be used for flooring or trim or ?

three quarter inch, four by eight marine grade plywood for 110.00 each.Nice but pricey. Jes' got four sheets...... to the wind;-)

all kiln dried and grade stamped? Not to be nitpicky, but I cant construct a building without an inspection so rough cut has no value for that. We do use our Timberking 1600 to cut out stuff for furniture, cabinets and what-nots.
