Have you ever had an expensive item and never had it home? I have had my SnapOn "taco wagon" roll cab for 34 years. I bought it in 1986 and it has been in hangars ever since. Today was the first time it was on my property. I turned in my badge and cleaned out my locker, and retired. Last official day is Sept. 15th. 28 years at SWA. 27 years and 3 months at our old hangar and 9 months at the new hangar.
Here are a few photos of the move. I forgot to take photos in the hangar, today while loading up, so I guess that never happened. Check out the stickers 9-3-20 Toolbox Back Stickers.jpg9-3-20 I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning.jpg9-3-20 Dog Box Stickers.jpg9-3-20 Dog Box Flag.jpg9-3-20 ToolBox Front.jpg9-3-20 Toolbox Home.jpg9-3-20 Toolbox Home 2.jpg. I have had a USA flag on my "dog" box since 911. Lost count how many flags I have used over the years. I have had the dog box 38 years and it has been all over the continental US, Alaska, and Mexico, fixing airplanes and helicopters.

Congrats on your retirement. Now you can be tired and re-tired everyday. :)

I brought my Kennedy versa cart home 11.5 years ago. It takes up a large corner in my barn, I still only have mostly machinists tools in it, and some hand tools.

Boone,
I am guessing around 2500 pounds. Day shift supervisor that was watching a coworker forklift my box on the trailer was really surprised how far the trailer went down when the weight of the toolbox was on it. Probably around 1,800 pounds of sheetmetal tools and bucking bars. Empty toolbox is 500-600 pounds.

It really was hot in the hangar wearing those masks. I should have put my hair up and wore a hat.
