Be sure to ask about the fluid cooling requirements for such a attachment.

Heat will dictate the duty cycle and with no cooling or fluid reserve, would be quite short.

it's still something worth buying fixing up, and reselling, the one's in the link cost $13,000+ so think about that..

I have a front hydraulic blower, and no it wont run on tractor hydraulics. Mine has a separate 25 gallon hydraulic tank and a 15gpm, 3,000 psi pto pump to power it thru a set of 1” hoses.

It's actually a 50% difference with a separate 25 gal container acting as a heat sink with larger hoses. A system separate of the tractor's system made to move a few cylinders.

exactly. Running all that hot hydraulic fluid thru tractor would damage tractor. My rear tank actually has steam rising off of it when in usr.

Keep in mind that 10gpm is maximum flow including steering pump. Your tractor actually has 6.5gpm. I am pretty sure you can't do 2 functions at once with your FEL. I know I couldn't with a 474 with probably the same pump.

Because we are talking snow blowers ambiemt temps are going to be low. Wonder if that will help the situation.

This is why some tractors like the MX6060 still have a mid pto. To be able to run this kind of setups.

i could have added a mid pto to mine and run a front snowblower that installs on a subframe. the reason i didnt go that route was i needed to lift my blower up to 6' in the air to clear the building shed off. you cant do that on a subframe unit. plus, with a subframe i cant just swap out between plow and blower like i can do now. its literally a 2 minute swap.
