Gee! that's funny...maybe you should get a new spell checker....because it completely missed correcting the word experiance[/} [SIC] in the former cited post...!

Sometimes it just changes words to something completely different than I was typing. This happens all the time and sometimes even after proof reading and hitting the post button I have seen it rearrange words in a sentence and it also sometimes changes punctuation marks to some very weird shaped symbols.
Sadly when I think about changing something with this tablet I fear it will only get worse as that’s what it did the first few times I tried anything with it. So I just accept it for the cheep piece of junk that it is!

By the way this tablet just changed my spelling 3 times in a row as it seems to want to misspell experiance, guess it for some reason thinks I have some kind of an accent.

^^^^^

It misspelled experience yet again... perhaps it's just a rookie so doesn't know what the word means.

That reminds me of the time i voice texted one of my customers telling them i was on my way. I simply said “ im on my way” When i got there he asked me what i meant by this text, and showed me. It said “ I think your gay”
i hate auto correct crap. Even though its disabled, it changes all the time.

Absolutely. I invested in Solectrac and hope to live long enough to consider one when I want to upgrade from my NH TC26DA. Electric tractors make perfect sense. For most people, the extra weight of the batteries is not a problem, and provides more traction along with a lower center of gravity if properly installed. Most compact diesels get used for an hour to four at a time when they get used, and that, again is perfect for electric.
Most tractors have loaders and loaders, when not doing loader work can carry extra batteries to extend the run time, if wanted. Less maintenance, no lifting of diesel cans. No worries about topping the tank so water doesn't condensate in the tank, no smoke, no smell no trips to the gas station.
If the price is comparable, and it WILL eventually be, though when I know not, I'd run to the electric.

I was looking for an old article from Mother Earth News about somebody who converted his Farmall Cub to electric, but found this instead.
The Electric Farmer: Updated
It seems like that would be the way to go for somebody with high tunnel greenhouses, among other applications.

That could be a good option for someone using one inside a warehouse, etc. The nice thing battery prices are really dropping as run hours are going up. Tesla just announced their new line of car batteries cost 50% less yet increase range by 50% but will in production will be three years to have factories run around the world. The number of electric tractors, fork lifts, backhoes, etc are going to continue to be used more and more as the costs continue to decline. I expect China and Europe will lead in usage because they have are more motivated to reduce healthcare cost since those governments foot the bill directly.

What I was thinking. Forklift yeah... tractor??? I would think electric fork lifts will be far ahead of electric tractors because of warehouse use.

A forklift has a pretty easy job. Driving it on the almost solid wheels across concrete doesn’t take much effort and the hydraulics only operate a pretty insignificant amount of the time. Even then I doubt it’s over 10 hp worth of work. It’s nothing like a tractor laboring hard for hours at a time powering a bushhog or tiller or pulling a plow. And the forklift pretty much by definition stays by power all the time. No farmer or construction man is bringing all the equipment back to the shop every night. That’s assuming it actually lasted the full day which at this point is a long ways off.
