What attachment to buy next that’s most beneficial?

So unfortunately I don稚 have the money for all the attachments I want so I need to sort the most useful, figured I would buy one a year till I have a good line up of attachments.

Tractor: Mahindra 5555 (55hp 8,000lb 4x4)

Attachments: Bush Hog BH17 (7ft rotary cutter), EA 78 extreme duty box blade, 6ft 3pt Ford rear blade (scrape blade), pallet forks (don稚 like design or fork length), and bucket.

Property is 3 acres of cleared land I raise cattle on and feed round bales. I do custom bush hogging, driveway maintenance and chores on family & friends lands. 32 acre hunting property etc.

This year im leaning towards buying a wicked toothbar for the bucket, bucket tamers for snow removal (instead of rear blade) and severe duty 7ft landscape rake (tired of picking up sticks in the pasture and fence line), also picturing rake to replace what I use the scrape blade for.

I don稚 like the design of the pallet forks that came with current tractor I have, I also want longer tines/forks 48? I came really close to selling these and buying a design I like better but instead will prob buy an attachment I could use more.

I will need a post hole digger next spring but will only be digging less than 10 holes so I値l prob rent one.

What痴 your go to attachment? What attachment not on my list you couldn稚 live without? Maybe I値l have more use for it than a rake. Pasture maintenance attachments?

Buy the 7 foot rake and I will trade you for my 84" tooth bar

If I was in your shoes, Id be looking at rear cast wheel weights as my next attachment. They give extra traction, probably reduce tire wear when using loader and make your tractor safer.

I thought about adding ballast. Tractor already is 7,999lbs being 55hp. I have a 1025lb rotary cutter or 600lb BB to hang off the back as ballast.

If I get too much heavier I’ll need a serious truck to haul it. I thought about loading the rears up 50% with liquid at one time but idk.

An extra 1000lbs of rear steel would put me at 9000lb plus trailer I’m at 12,300lb with no attachments lol

Stay away from liquid ballast, especially if you were talking about bush hogging new fields. Stick with cast centers.

That thought also crossed my mind. If I did liquid it would be cheap to loose like windshield washer fluid.

I’ll think about cast weights. Not sure where I would buy them, prob have to be new threw the dealer.

My least used implement is the post hole digger. It is not that I don't have a need for one, it is because the soil where I want the holes is always too hard, rocks, DG or whatever and so it just does not work well. There have been times where in the right season and in the right spot it works really well. ... but mostly frustrating to put in on and then be unable to get the holes dug. (usually use a 6" auger").

The most useful (after the essential FEL) is the box blade, the rear blade, the pallet forks and a tooth bar. I have a carry all for the 3ptH but not yet used it - and it did not come with the holes I need to make it work well (lift high enough) so have to get around to drilling new holes. The middle buster is not that useful as cannot go deep enough.

Beyond implements: a canopy, a tilt meter, a stick-on digital clock, a cup holder, a chain holder (doubles as holder for large pruning cutter), a tool box set up somewhere, and holders for long tools (shovels, pole saws. . .).

When you fill tires with fluid and go off YOUR property and onto someone elses property, or public property, ask yourself if itll be ok to lose a tire full of that fluid.
I learned the hard way.
My advice is if youre going into using it to do jobs on other peoples property, go with cast weights. Theres no danger and I think theyre better in every way.
Most dealers sell generic weights. Most wheels have universal wheel weight bolt patterns
