I see you have a helper under the tractor....

We had ZERO snow last year. First time in my 50+ year life Ive ever seen that. We usually get 4-8 dozen snowfalls per year of 1-10? It was a big hit to the bank account not having any snow to plow.
Im going to have to go through my equipment in the next few weeks. We run an 08 F-350 with a 8.5 Western plow and Tailgate salt spreaders and a Kubota farm tractor with a 9 Arctic poly snowplow and big snow bucket.

That unit you have constructed looks very similar to the setup installed on the 2009 Kubota M7040 I saw in the the dealers shop. As I remember - the entire setup cost right around $14K. Only the school district with federal tax $$$ could afford such a setup. Brand new M7040 and this shaft drive front mount blower.

As predicted, our weather has warmed back up and the 4" of snow is all gone. I see that rain is predicted for later this week.

Tried putting up a couple short vids but no go. Not you tube, just off the reply icons.

I haven't had success other than posting via YouTube.

Ditto. It was the only way I could post videos here, so I uploaded them to YouTube. Took me a bit to figure it out but all is good and easy now.

Weather forecast is for a major blizzard this weekend. Almost two feet of the white stuff has been ordered, I think off Amazon by a local farmer. Much needed moisture for the prairies. I have two end caps for sprocket shafts to spin on the lathe and one weld to finish this off. A trip for some extra fuel for the tractor and gas for the generator is also in order.
oosik, I will check what receipts I have to see a cost on this project. Pretty sure it is under the $2 k mark. Got a smokin deal on the blower at the local Kubota dealer. Just over $900 for the blower, $230 for the ssqa plate and $100 and a bit for the shaft. Prob another $100 for the 2x3x .125 rails. Bearings, sprockets, chain and a couple pto adapters don't add up to a lot.
