Unfortunately you are right. OTOH that's the direction the younger crowd wants to head in, and it's time to start handing over the reins to them.
Fossil fuels will be around for a few more decades according to many a Financial media review . Considering how slow the electric vehicle market is proceeding compared to where electric vehicle proponents said we would be a decade ago .....and the continued low price of gas , and how many fossil resourced based countries are going to use the sale of fossil resources to dig themselves out of the covid pandemic deficits.....gas and diesel fueled pickups will be around long after I am buried. As for wanting a Kubota pickup truck, I have a Kubota RTV and here we can drive on rural roads...so I already have a Kubota pickup truck![]()
Not this time. The UTV guys would probably spit out their coffee at the prospect of dealing with the emissions regulations.

.
The continued 'low price of gas (and diesel) is about to end if a certain dork gets elected. I bet gas will be at least 6 bucks a gallon next spring and diesel will be even more.
Im not handing over anything to anyone who wants to take us down a path of nonsense.
They will get the reins when they pry them from my cold dead fingers.
Most people are clueless about what drives oil prices. Put your money where your mouth is.....how much do you want to bet gas will be $6.00 a gallon next spring? I’ll take that bet. Do you have a Paypal account to transfer the money? COVID-19 and it’s associated lockdowns should be raging next spring, further reducing demand for oil. COVID, combined with the fact Trump was in the pockets of Russian and Saudi governments and did nothing meaningful to curb their price reducing over-productions, is why we saw negative price per barrel numbers last spring. So, if you want to give Trump credit for your low gas prices, it’s because of his scatted brain foreign policy and COVID measures.
Let’s revisit this post come Spring of 2021 to illustrate how wrong you were.
