Im right there with ya, but Im not going to buy something I dont want or like. Like RickB said and I agree, good things come to those who wait.
BTW: the PJ I found in Illinois was sold at 1 pm today.

You start pushing bales against the sides of that trailer whether it has 10ga or 12ga sides won't matter. How the sides are constructed might matter. How you handle the bales will matter most of all. How much weight your optimum build subtracts from your net capacity is another consideration. Hoist cylinder bore is one factor of many that determines how much weight will get dumped.

Agree somewhat, but once you order a trailer like this, you own it. Not a trailer you can easily sell without taking a hit.
I think it’s worth it to get it built as close to the way I want as possible.
Made a few buying mistakes and I dont want any more.

Far as the the sides go, an integrated key way keeps them more stiff than thicker steel, but I thought 12ga was a little light. Although I am pretty careful, I still like my stuff overbuilt for longevity.

Itll get done. Whether I compromise to save money with a Pj or Sure Trac or break the bank to get what I really want like a DC or a Belmont, is the choice I have to make. Election results will factor in the decision

Well, its finally here....the “ compromise “
Now the dilemma.....should I buy it.....

I LOVE the price, which is a big deal to me. I know theres going to be a crash in the economy in the next 6-12 months with the spectacular failure of globalism/socialism, so with it will be a downturn in gross profits.
Anyway, the trailer itself is really generic. Nothing exciting. Payload isnt really where I want it to be (5.5 tons legal). Still can’t understand the 16,000lb rating......
Its kind of a compromise, which as I climb in age, I promised myself Id quit compromising.

$12,995 for compromise or $16,500 (Diamond C) and wait 2-3 months for what I really want.....
Sounds like an easy decision, but $3500 buys a lot of fuel, insurance, etc.

Nisaacs, that trailer company will build the trailer I want, for $18,500.
