I plan to frame it out with lumber for wall attachments and to insulate. After checking on lumber prices, that may be next year. LOL
I did add some flat bar stock on the outside of the beams and plan to use trailer floor screws to attach 2bys.

Seem so with all the BSMs out there down there, lumber should be affordable from someone.

I somehow forgot to take pics of the front wall. I’ll try to take some later. Hope to have a roof on soon.

I wish it was mine! It was rented. It was very handy

I really like the way that looks. If the sides are going to take very long to get on you should think about tie bracing it just in case you get a big wind storm. We used big nylon tie down straps and a couple of chains with binders and we did have a couple of big storms. Don't know if there would have been any damage but everything stayed square and plumb.

As far as scissor lifts go, watch craigslist and facebook marketplace. I bought a big old Grove 3146 with big enough wheels to drive off road for $3500 and a friend gave me an old small tire 4' x 7" indoor lift with bad batteries and control head. I have replace most of the switches in both of them now (Amazon $4 each) and put a set of batteries in the indoor lift and they are so handy. I have even used the Grove for trimming trees and as a crane for moving some equipment around the shop. Try to find an older one with individual switches vs. one of the fancy new ones with the nice joystick controls - service guy told me that most of the new style fancy control heads are not serviceable and start at $800. Old ones are just wires and switches and are easy to service.

I've never seen another like this one. It was 4x4 and had a 6'x20' platform to work on. It would scissor up but would also fold over in the back, basically giving you another 20' of reach. Also, it would tilt on the platform plus at the base.
I'm working on it every chance I get but it is slow going. I don't have a lot of time. Also, my 9 yr old is helping every time I go out, which is great but it does slow me down. I do have some extra permanent bracing planned but probably ought to do something temporarily until I get that far.

I bet that sucker is expensive but it sounds like it is worth it. I am doing 4 roll up and 2 man doors on mine this weekend so the lifts will get a workout. Windows are scheduled for next weekend and then the spray foam guys can get in. One day I will finish this up.

I'm thinking about using spray foam. I'd love to hear how you like it and what the price difference is.
