Hey brother Stepp happy thanksgiving.....
There was only one who I enjoyed hunting and fishing with.............my Dad. It was never the same after that. My Dad taught me how to swim quietly like an American Indian...at least that's what he said. and... how to hunt ducks squirrels rabbits etc. No deer however...We felt lucky to have a single shot 22.
Good pics Richard.
Cheers,
Mike
Yes! I turned 60 two years ago, and I firmly believe these are the best days of my life as well. Wifey and I are living life like we never could at 20. I am truly a blessed man.![]()
Good stuff Mike. My Dad could swim "stealth". He could also hold his breath so long that people would think something was wrong. He was a skilled "hand fisherman". I've posted this pic before, but here's an example.
Like Carly Simon crooned in one of her songs... 'These are the good old days'.. I tend to agree. All downhill from here.
That kind of picture deserves to be posted more than once.
There were a lot of good old days, yet these are the best of times. I would hate to think that my best days really were when I was in HS and that it was downhill ever since then.
