Covid hair cut or lack there of

I think it has been about 6 years since I got a 'real' haircut. Trims don't count.

My barber died, my wife won't cut my hair with the electric clipper, and I would not like paying full price for a new barber to trim the !ittle bit of hair I have left. I went on ebay and got a comb that sandwiches two razor blades between it's halves.
Rigged a hand mirror to show what's in the big mirror behind me and that's how my hair gets cut. It cuts best when wet and I'm holding the end of what I hack off.

My last store-bought haircut was February 6th. We had a haircut kit at home which had never been used. Got it out and my wife has been cutting my hair. She does a great job - my haircuts are much better, so won't be going back to town for haircuts. Saving money, saving trips to town, looking better - what's not to like.

And the best part, it gives our wives an opportunity to "hover" over us. Women need that contact and interaction.

tell her you will let ear hair grow long and do a comb over unless she lets you go to barber.

Once the first lockdown hit back in March, we bought a Wahl trimmer kit. My wife was/is surprisingly good at blending different lengths.
