TC40D Dash Glow Plug Light

I own a 2001 TC40D. Just had a new engine installed and lots of items worked on. The tractor sits outside and is kept covered with a tarp. The one issue that bugs me is that when I first turn on the ignition switch, the glow plug light does not come on. Once the engine is started after a lot of cranking and warmed up, I turn the engine off. When I go to re-start, then the glow plug light comes on. I'm baffled and would appreciate any insight.

I have not. Is there a way to test them? Also, I am a fairly new tractor owner. Could you direct me to the location of these? Thanks!

Mine Is under the panels on the left side of the tractor . Here is the picture I used to work on mine . My timer was missing replaced it and bought a relay and just replaced them . Think between the two I spent about 30 bucks . The one outlines in red is the timer

You should be able to go to Messicks and other NH parts websites and find what you're looking for. i could find it for you, but you wouldn't like my finders fee.

Another member posted it a few years ago . I saved it . I just went to my dealer and bought the part . I think it was less then 20 bucks .

I’m wrong I got my timer on eBay and the relay from the dealer . Timer was about 65 bucks . I just did quick eBay search and found this one .
