Any body have any experience replacing "O" rings on a log splitter control valve?.... Any thing I need to be aware of before I order set of "O" rings and attempt to fix the leak at the shaft... It is a "Energy" brand control valve if it makes any difference...

Pretty straight forward.

Id take the o-rings out and take to your favorite supplier. IF just o-rings, a napa or something. But sometimes they have quad rings or x-rings. hydraulic shop for those most likely

It seems those valves have directional O-rings. Be sure to get them oriented correctly.

This may help: http://www.energymfg.com/pdf/44833x.pdf

Thank you, but I have most of the files Energy has to offer and some are not much help, they could not even give my specs on my (their) control valve and I had all the numbers for them....
