2020 Bobcat CT2025
New member here, just got my new tractor last week. Bobcat CT2025 HST. I ordered it with R4 tires, front loader, 2 pairs of detent remotes, linked pedal, toolbox, 60 inch box grader, 2500 lbs forks, and a tine rake.

I plan on adding some LED work lights, a beacon (I run it down the road every now and then), cruise control, and a third function down the line, as well as some other implements.

I mainly will use it for moving things, grading, and eventually some snow removal.

I joined this forum to learn more as this is my first compact tractor. It seemed to be a good value and it was considerably cheaper than the Kioti CK2610H I was quoted. The dealer was also top notch.

Congrats on the good looking tractor. Still waiting on my new Bobcat to get the kits and 3rd function on it. I am also a first time tractor owner and the Bobcats really seemed like the best value for the features. Enjoy!

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site... from wherever in the world you are. (Although, judging by the snow on the ground, it's probably in the Northern Hemisphere :))

((Mind you, they were calling for potential snow on Mt. Wellington in Hobart, and we're in Summer))

Nice looking tractor and welcome.
Remember to keep some weight on the hitch when you’re using the front loader and always keep load as low as possible when traveling. I have a very similar version of your tractor just older and it has been fantastic. hope you have as good of luck as I have.

This thread and quote accurately describe my situation as well. I'm coming up on doing some filter and fluid changes soon and wondering about what others have found work well for them.

Welcome! And nice tractor. Just got a CT5545 myself. To your point, I looked at Kioti and Bobcat. A few things drove me to the Bobcat. 1) The Kioti dealer had only 1 tractor in stock. Nice tractor, but not what I wanted and it was going to be 2-3 months before they got any in. The Bobcat Dealer had a few different models in stock. 2) Location - The Bobcat dealer is literally 5 minutes from my house. I wasn't looking at Bobcat tractors but kind of stumbled on them. Once I realized they were Kioti tractors, they got my interest. The Kioti dealer was about 35-40 mins away, no big deal, but boy the Bobcat dealer is convenient. 3) Price point was competitive to the Kioti, actually a little better. I was a bit shocked. 4) Follow up. The Bobcat dealer actually called me to follow up after I looked at the tractor to see if there were any questions I had and also to offer me his best pricing on a few models I looked at. Since I never received one call from Kubota or Kioti, that one follow up call from Bobcat told me they wanted my business. 5) Techs and shop. Since Bobcat is an established brand with a lot of equipment in the field, I was comforted to see they had a nice shop and experienced technicians. I felt they had a lot of hydraulic knowledge and they will actually come to me (house call) for some service. I wasn't too impressed with the Kubota or Kioti dealerships service ability, but thats because neither ever mentioned their service departments. 6) Brand recognition and parts management. My feeling or maybe my perception is that Bobcat is established and has years of experience in parts management. I felt like they will make sure parts are available or accessible. I'm not sure some of these small Kioti or other tractor dealers do as much in the way of parts inventory or management. I don't know for sure, its just a gut feeling that I think Bobcat brings something to the table here. 7) Setup and Delivery - the 3rd function was installed properly and neatly, and the tractor with implements was delivered to my house. Maybe the other dealers would have done that, but I didn't get that far with them. 8) Test drive. Neither Kubota nor Kioti offered me an opportunity to drive or operate one of their tractors. Bobcat took me out and had me drive the 2535 and the 5545. Bobcat sold a larger tractor just by offering me the opportunity to drive it on the lot and touch/see/feel. Kioti let me sit in a CK2610, but didn't even offer to start it. Kubota didn't even walk out to their lot to show me the Kubotas on the lot. He kind of said, what we have is out there. So I walked around the few they had by myself.

Sorry to be long winded. I have been in business a long time, and I just don't understand how these businesses make it. I would have bought a Kubota, even though it was higher priced if the guy would have taken 20 minutes to talk to me about Kubotas, try to understand my needs and make any recommendations. I told him I wanted to look at and price a LX2610 cab hydro, and he says we don't have any and won't until February. He didn't offer any other input, questions, etc. He ball parked the pricing and out I went. Where has the basics of sales and follow up gone? I know they don't want to waste alot of time, I get it. But its a bit ridiculous. Anyway, I'm riding in a Bobcat and so far I really like it.

Good luck with yours!

Welcome from Missouri.

I have a CT235 - bought in 2011 when Bobcat did their first go at selling tractors.

I like my machine slit,

Good luck.
