Watching some reruns of the tonight show with Carson and notice bleeps in the dialog... especially with comedians.

Many programs mentioned not available for us with Rabbit Ears...

This past weekend, we were watching a Carson rerun, I am guessing from around 1980ish. Tim Conway and Richard Pryor were on the show that night. We missed the first part of the show unfortunately.

What was interesting were the conversations going on which I don't think would happen in today's environment. Pryor told a joke by mimicking a Chinese waiter, in a Chinese restaurant, who as speaking Chinese with a stutter.

The Wife and I have discovered that Youtube has full episodes of Daniel Boone. We started at season 1,episode 1 and have watched about 12 episodes so far. I enjoyed this show as a kid and am enjoying it almost as much now. It sure beats a lot of the crap out there these days.

Yep... many things prohibited then such as bellybuttons are anything goes and dialog allowed then would get the program cancelled if in current production.

If you haven't already, try 'Cheyenne'. Same type of show.

'Here Come The Brides' is fairly decent also.
