I had thought about making a single large cover but never got around to it. Mine didn't even come with a temp gauge; I had to add one (center). Here's what my instrument panel looks like - gauges are really tiny!

As we get older those gauges get even smaller
You would never know the one you added didn't belong there great job!

bet you don't get the tachometer shrieking in single digit temps though.
had to pull my underhood "grill" shape thick cardboard to lay flat inside it to prevent the fan from pulling so much cold air over cable end.so far so good.

you can see part of cardboard laying in there due to label. only blocked the flat area did not want to block all air.

Hi all!
I pulled the hood off and I had a friend that does welding and he welled the snot out of it and as expected the paint in those areas needed to be repaired so I started out only doing that but then I had other areas that had scratches and places where the paint was worn down so one thing led to another and I ended up painting the whole hood, I have never done any type of auto body but over all it came out pretty decent, I was short on time and dealing with a wrist pain so working on it was a tad difficult. I figure as long as it is painted it is protected and if I have to ever redo the hood for whatever reason I have a better idea on what needs to be done having this been my maiden voyage into the Auto body waters.
