Weather should be great... spectacular past weekend... mid 70's, blue sky and calm...

I went to the far west area on my property today. The last wind storm blew down two old dead pines. Kind of sad. All sorts of "peckers" had homes in those two trees. Glad it's not nesting time. They will have time to build new homes in other trees. My hunting friend will be glad. He's always looking for firewood. He will get an easy three cords out of those two trees.

Yesterday's gust did something I have not seen in 29 years... the acoustic ceiling blew up out of the track in the main hospital lobby... maybe a dozen all together.

Ha - bet that woke everybody up. I've seen a wind storm make the suspended ceiling tile shake. Never blow them out of their tracks. But the strange thing - what I saw happened in a hospital also.

Not wind related, but i saw where a bunch of lighting fell out of the ceiling in an operating room during the night. It fell across the operating table and would have hit surgeon and patient. Surprisingly, toggle bolts had been used in sheetrock ceiling and they worked through it.

Operating rooms will have hard ceilings and OR lights are siesmically anchored as is large equipment... at least here in CA ...

In CA - the DR's & the patients should be "seismically anchored" also -:laughing::dance1:
