Just a PM. I was wondering if he's going after everyone who made comments on his YT channel or just me-- The "internet hater".

The gentleman has over a million subscribers and this is the first I've heard of him. He probably doesn't talk enough tractor.

Yeah it's mostly trucks. He's done a few equipment videos too. I watch it for the comedy. He's quite the jokester with his brother, but at the end of the day they tear apart things and put them back together.

I checked out Andrew last night... watched him get lucky on that starter removal method. Then I found myself watching him tear down a mobile home for 20 minutes when my wife walked in and asked if I was studying how to tear our house down.

That starter removal was a disaster that didn't quite happen!
It worked .....sorta.....but a stupid thing to do!

When I started watching Andrew, I thought I might get some practical tips on keeping machinery running. After seeing him do the kind of thing your wife commented on, I didn't know what to think and still don't. Some seem to think he does that for comedic value.

Well that's what YouTube is becoming... entertainment. There are some channels that are very technical and you learn a lot, but with others it's just about getting some laughs or cringes at people doing stuff you'd never do. Speaking of which make sure your dog isn't next to the rotary cutter when you use it to chop up an old lawn mower. I felt so bad seeing that!

I haven’t watched much of the castle build. Its kinda stupid IMO. Astronomical expense for not much useable space. Maybe he got enough views to pay for it.

If I understood correctly, Andrew recently said that he'd made enough money on YouTube that he was able to concentrate time to building the castle for several months. It might not have been in one of his own videos that he said it. Andrew did a very revealing interview on someone else's YouTube channel. "How I became successful" was in the title of that video.

Kinda depends on what steel he used.
If he used COR-TEN steel, it will likely never be a problem.

I've re-run the above before deciding Andrew never told what he plans to do with the second story. I do remember him saying he needed a pitched roof because the flat one was leaking.

I can't even justify a sheet of 3/8 for a welding table. The weight must be tremendous.

Steel shipping/cargo containers walls are made from 14 gauge..

However the containers on that castle hardly see any weight of the roof.
