I've been waiting to post in here until I finished my plow build. We got close to 12" and that was enough for me to put her to use before painting the last frame member. That can wait till spring! I'm crossing my fingers because I assembled this late night, mid storm and only had one hiccup with a cylinder. The next morning I realized the hose wasn't completely plugged in. Got that situated and it's been turn key!

Paint, smaint  we got snow not a beauty contest. Besides a paint job just isn't proper without a few bugs glued on.

Looks good that underslung mount shortens the whole thing up nicely.

Great when a plan and some work come together.
Looks like an 8' blade?

Hope a video will be forthcoming to go with the pic..

7.5’ blade. Give me sometime to figure out how to post and edit a video. I got one of my maiden voyage. A little bit of a learning curve but nothing terrible. I’ll post it anyways.

Let's see if this works. Here's a quick clip from today's maiden voyage. This pass is on untouched snow, 12" deep. I slow up a bit because I thought I was going to hit my stone wall and then she picks right back up. At this point, the snow wasn't light and fluffy. A bit on the heavier side, but not bad. You can see the clumping afterwards. In short, it's definitely faster than the bucket since you don't have to dump and the skids on most frozen terrain make the process quick and painless.

Thanks for the video.. have a good time plowing snow now. Agree on the bucket chore.. not fun at all IMO and I change the bucket out for the blade as soon as I can.. but I change out the FEL for the plow blade.
