I mounted mine with pin opposite the tractor, holes aligned and it is no problem. Probably could have mounted it the other way as well.
I also got my WC68 in yesterday and today was assembly day. Hit one snag. Perhaps someone here can steer me in the right direction.
I am to the point of mounting the discharge chute. The directions say it should be installed with the rotator release pin on the tractor side. When I do that the 4 bolt holes don't line up. Close but no cigar. I tried getting even 1 in to see if that would help but I can't get a single bolt in. If I rotate it 180 degrees so the release pin is away from the tractor the holes line up fine
Suggestions? Does it really make a difference since you can rotate the chute?
Underdog57, I've had that exact same chipper for almost two years and just love using it!! I'm sure you'll be pleased with yours also once you start working it. Enjoy.
UD57, that sounds like a good matchup.
The saw holder is a good idea.
