15F cloudy quick moving snow showers over night.

Was good day getting things done outside before snowy week arrives.
Over night gallon gas went up 5 cents and diesel 6 cents gallon OTR....hmmm.
Put up trail cam where 2 different deer yards intersect towards feeding area on steep south sides...need less snow and warmer temps soon.
Mrs. said chili ready :licking:soooo gotta scoot.

Enjoy the evening all.

30° out at the moment. Wife and I went into town. Had some lunch and ran some errands.

Swung by academy sports. Wife wanted to get some new boots. Well, while she went shopping, I went wandering over to the gun section. To my surprise, they actually had guns

As a bonus, they had the exact model Sig 9mm we've been looking for, for my wife. We've been looking for that model in 9mm for about 3 years now with out any luck. I have the same model in 40 cal, and she's always preferred that over her baretta 9mm. So I called my wife and told her I was in the process of purchasing a gun and to come find me when she finished shopping. So my wife got a new gun for Valentines day

She spent about the same amount of money on me for a Tri-fold hard top Tanau cover for the Sierra. Which was my present for valentines day Supposed to be in by next Tuesday.

Went to sames club. Stocked up on the juice we like, as well as some other essentials.

Then came home, unloaded the truck. Then went and saw the little man.

Is that a Newfie?

We don't know what his breed is. We rescued him from a dog pound. He absolutely loves the cold weather, he will lay out in the snow and get all covered up and you can't even see him. We just look for a big hump in the snow, he weighs about 125 lbs. We almost have to drag him in the house. We worry he is going to freeze.

Southern Engineering?

With expected single digit temps coming Tuesday I was a bit concerned with the exposed water line from our well before it enters the utilities room.

An extension cord, plug in socket, a couple of ty-wraps, and a 100 watt incandescent bulb later .. Viola!

This is in a cedar fence enclosed area but didn’t want to take a chance when solution was so simple. I need to figure out how to monitor temperature inside. Maybe drill a small hole and use a probe thermometer?

Your 100 watt bulb is going to be plenty,
I'd put a bale of hay on those water lines.
