I'm getting a valve assembly with hoses from a friend who has the same model loader and L2213A model loader valve to use for my grapple. What is the flow rate for the valve?
Also how can you adjust the pressure relief valve on it? The tractor is a L3130 Kubota. It needs a bit more lifting capacity...

Pump output for your tractor is 7 gal per minute. I would not recommend adjusting pressure without a pressure gauge to test pressure.

I got the valve mounted and lines hooked up the way my friend did on his tractor. The in ( supply) line was the pressure line to the main loader valve, hooked to added valve, then went to FEL valve. It works the grapple, as it should.
I have found the power beyond port. Today, I hooked the BY hose from the tractor to the inlet side of the new valve and outlet side to where hose was on FEL valve. When I tried to open grapple with valve, tractor just stalled. What am I doing wrong?

To use power beyond you should be using 3 hoses. Power in, power beyond and tank. Your valve also must have power beyond sleeve installed.

Without knowing what you are trying to accomplish and which valves you are adding not much more that I can offer. Could you maybe post pictures and give us some more information?

I am adding a valve to operate our grapple, instead of buying the 3rd function kit. It works with the valve hooked up to the power in side.

After finding a photo of the distribution block under the floor, I may have had a couple hoses in the wrong place. I will try again.
How can I find out if my add on valve has the power beyound sleeve?

The sleeve would have a fitting already installed on the power beyond port that allows for a hose connection. If you post a picture of it I could tell most likely.

I was finally able to see the photo. That valve does not appear to have power beyond. If it did it would have 3 ports plus the 2 spool ports. It will not work.

Here are better pics of the valves. This is my loader valve. Left side hose is the power beyond port.Shared album - T. Jeff Veal - Google Photos

It goes from there to the distribution block under the floor, feeding the 3 pt hitch valve.
This is the valve that will control the grapple. It works now, but is plumbed in on the power in line and then outlet feeds the loader valve.Shared album - T. Jeff Veal - Google Photos
If I take a short hose and go from BY port to inlet on the single valve and then from outlet side to 3pt valve, wouldn't it work?

No Sir, it will not work. The problem is because that valve is not designed to be put in series with other valves. It is not for a log splitter or some other single valve setup. It can not handle the back pressure that will be created from any down stream valve.

Some of the electric over hydraulic valves you see people use for third functions can handle high back pressure. This is why you see them used often. Only one line in and one line out.

If you want a mechanical valve then you need one with power beyond and tank ports. You would go from the power beyond of your current loader valve to the power in port on the new valve then take power beyond from new valve to distribution block to feed 3pt hitch. You would then take the tank port from your new valve and "T" into the tank port on your loader valve.

Hope that helps.

Any ideas or links on that type valve?
