Back up and connect. Lift, which lets the support fall away. Lift some more to clear the fallen support. Drive away.

On return - get off the tractor and position the support, then lower onto it.

That works, unless your supports are fastened to the implement like mine. After you hook up and lift, you have to get off to raise the support.

Which is far, far easier than wrestling a couple hundred lb implement. I love my QH!

Me, too. I have two. But no combination of my implements allow me to remain in the seat for the whole process. PTO shafts or implement-mounted stands require dismounting.

But I'm not complaining. Getting out of the seat is probably a good thing compared to being seated for hours.

Long ago, doing field work all day on a tractor, a lot of time was spent standing as a break from sitting on that old steel seat.

Another advantage of the generic Qhitch:

You can use the QH to push the implement around when its embedded in the ground or mis-aligned. Instead of using brute muscle and cussing, or having to carry a long prybar out to where the implement is stored.

Photos of other applications aside from implements:

A lifter for a spike harrow that had been designed for drag-only. The mast and pulley are from exercise equipment that a neighbor abandoned when she moved out.
(Running the cable over a pulley and back down to the tractor drawbar doubles the amount of lift).

The QH also provides a place to mount a toolbox on this small tractor.

Drawbar with trailer ball. It attaches in a moment. The little tabs are welded to adapter sleeves then bolted on. They prevent the bar from rotating.

Compact ballast for backfilling a trench, in a tight corridor between the barn and the fence. Logs could be lifted and dragged like this, too.

In summary, the QH greatly expands the usefulness of the tractor.

I have one and it works ok for half my implements. It's very heavy and hard to put onto the tractor one handed.

The top link hook won't work with any of my implements unless I get off the tractor and use a socket and wrench each time. I had to modify my speeco making it 1/2 inch wider because it didn't fit onto all my implement lower link pins. I also had to make a clearance slot on the top bar because it was hitting the PTO shaft on my mower.

I got mine on sale 60% off. If it was more expensive I would have returned it. I think I would prefer the pat's style hook system or the euro style 3ph ball/hook system. In the alternative I'd want a trapezoidal design like JD or landpride that has clearance for PTO shafts.

Really getting off tractor to just flip a couple of levers is not nearly as demanding as wrestling with heavy implement the fights back every step of process when trying to push pins in ball ends ...

the euro style hook and ball setup sounds interesting and is neat until you realize you still have to get off to hook up the top link and I can't reach the lever for my hydraulic top link from behind the tractor where I would stand while holding a heavy hydraulic top link waiting for it to extend enough to hook it onto the pin.

they all have their flaws it mostly depends on how many implements you already have and how easily adjustable they are.

now if kubota would just put a switch on the rear fenders to lift/lower the three point hitch I would probably think about switching to the euro ball type. and a PTO start stop switch would be nice too for stationary work

My CUT usage is rather limited to snow duties and summer FEL usage.
That being said I can't really justify that mere seasonal change over so I just grunt and heave twice a year with my crowbar.
Generally take 20-30 mins all told.
Removing my snow blower is a no brainer, just installing annually would be the only advantage.
