I just watched my neighbor try to get up his driveway 4 times but just spinning his wheels. Finally got into his garage the 5th time after a running start from in front of my house.

My driveway is now dry and ice free. It did work getting the snow off yesterday. Of course the street is still one big block of ice so we are still staying off the roads.

Do they make a half fold down windshield like golf carts have for utility vehicles?
Nice ride Ron, what are you going go do with your golf cart?

Neighbor had a similar issue tonight. He's driving a 2wd Tahoe. My wife was texting his wife.

His wife made the comment that "The idiot I live with is stuck trying to back in the driveway!!!"

I walked out and another set of neighbors were trying to push him out of the road.

I stopped them and told them they were working way too hard. I was pushing a wheel barrow with rock salt and sand in it.

We scraped the snow from behind his tires, tossed some salt and sand down, and he backed right in I tossed a little more down to cover the rest his driveway. Then his wife sent me home with a casserole dish of chicken and dumplings

He was wondering where I got the salt from since all the stores were sold out of rock salt. I told him they had plenty of water softener salt. Slamming the bags down on the concrete about 20 times breaks the pellets up into more productive pieces

Rich, I was told to be really careful of emus. Their knees bend forward and they can deliver a kick with pointy toe nails.

Rick, most sxs mfgs recommend a rear windshield with the front windshield, to keep out the back draft of dust and wind.

My SxS is a crew so not sure how much good a rear shield would afford. I guess .. if I installed a windshield I could mock up a rear temporary shield from Masonite .. to test??

The Polaris one folds down over the hood .. I found one .. that folds down over itself but .. the split would be right inline with my line of sight. By the time I figure this out .. it'll be spring and I'll drop it until .. it gets cold next fall. The never ending cycle .. of indecision.
