Sorta, but that shows links to every new post in every thread. It would be enough for me to show the same content as Watched does now.

If you go into account preferences ( https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/account/preferences ) and uncheck all the notifications except for "Replies to a watched thread" it will do that (or keep the ones under Conversations if you want notifications of PMs).
Any of the notifications that are checked under Account>Preferences will show up under that bell menu.

I still can see no pictures. When I try to view attachments it says I need to sign in but I already am on the app. When I do try to sign in it doesnt recognize me.
Is there another app besides the tapatalk one for tractorbynet. I cant find it if there is.

I lost all the folders I had in my subscriptions to sort content to make easy to find.

Is the a way to restore the folders I had for subscribed threads in the old soft in this new version?

I'm not liking the change. OTT changed and it was basically unusable to me.

This is not as bad, but not good. I want my info more dense. Smaller fonts, more posts per page. This looks like the Jitterbug phone version of forum software. I've checked out the styles and the default is better than the TBN2020.

So I had to save a new bookmark for TBN & had to pause my VPN to open any page, even from Google search, etc. Must be a way to whitelist this site.

(I liked the old smileys a lot better & the new interface seems a lot more comlicated)

Is there any way to change the colors? The "yellow" that indicates a new thread is almost white on my laptop. It's a very light pink color and almost impossible to see now. I get most people don't like change but it is what it is. Being able to customize it some would be nice though.

I'll add this to the feature list but recovering old folders isn't possible due to the change. Sorry for the inconvenience but we will restore the feature.

But it doesn't check EVERY time. Because most of the time, avatar images don't change, neither do the images people attach to their posts. So maybe it checks once every hour. Or maybe four times a day. Sometimes your own ISP does the SAME THING (sending you cached images to save their own bandwidth and speed up your access) but maybe your ISP only checks for updates every 2 hours. Depending on when people update their images, you might get a new image RIGHT AWAY, or maybe 2 hours (or tomorrow!)

The Internet works, but we definitely all do a LOT more on it than we thought we would 20-30 years ago!

tldr: If you change an image and it's not immediately updated across all your devices, just give it 24-48 hours. If it's still an issue, let us know and we'll help try to figure it out!

Yea, I wrote cgi bin programs for mid 90s web servers to process basic forms. Things have changed a lot.

In all seriousness, this is the 4th or 5th site that I am on that has switched to this software, so I am used to it and like it more than the old software.

I also preferred the old smilies, at least in part because they seem unique to this site.
However, it's only been a couple of days since the change and the Founder has said he plans to try to bring them back. Right now I'm sure that they have other gremlins to work out... I just hope that Muhammed wasn't halfway through doing a roof or remodeling his kitchen.

No, the kitchen was done in november... my brother's fence, however, is 80% finished as of Friday.
