I never owned a cool car in my youth, so I don't really have an emotional connection with any vintage cars. I can enjoy site seeing at a car show, but I'm not motivated enough to store and maintain one.
My first car was a 76 Plymouth Volare, and I don't want another one. Next car was an 85 Mercury Topaz, and I seriously don't want another one of those.
That was a sharp looking truck. I was born in '49 so it would be cool to have one.1949 Ford F1 is my favorite.
There was a local garage owner who had one of those. He got it from his father, who inherited it from HIS father. The plan was to pass it on to the 4th generation, but they closed their doors and moved so I don't know if it ever happened.WWII era Willys MB Jeep. My dad purchased one when he was discharged in ’46 and kept it as his daily driver for almost 25 years.
